Some poor people are in a negative mood most of the time, not me. My depressions seldom last longer than a few hours, I am one of those who’s feelings are almost always upbeat even when things go wrong. It’s in my DNA to always look at the bright side and I am thankful that Almighty God chose to create me this way. However, I am basically a coward when it comes to confrontation. I don’t like it and I have a history of being a flight rather than fight kind of person. When the kitchen becomes to uncomfortably hot I leave the kitchen and go hungry rather that fight the cook. When I look around at the self-destruction of my surroundings I get more than a little depressed and more than a little irritated. I want very much to flyaway and not deal with it, but as a Christian and as an American I need to hang around and join the fight. It’s my duty! The lie has become a dominant tool used by almost everyone, especially politicians. Is Hilary Clinton a liar? What about the POTUS? What about the members of Congress? What about the Supreme Court? If you can’t smell a rat here, something may be wrong with your sniffer. What about this “Black Lives Matter” business? Of course black lives matter and so do all other lives matter. After all; “All Men Are Created Equal, and endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights.” It states this in our Deceleration of Independence. I get it that everyone in the USA and the World do not think the same way that I do. I can live with that and it doesn’t depress me. What is depressing is that there are so many people in the USA who don’t think at all. There are a vast number of people who haven’t thought for so long that they have lost the ability to smell a fake. These ignorant folk can’t understand the truth when it hits them right between the eyes. It seems that they prefer a lie that sounds good and makes them feel good over a truth that will set them free. There is another group of people in America who are not ignorant, but have chosen to be the opposition of the truth. Like their ignorant brothers and sisters they too are in bondage to the lie. The truth means nothing to them! Know this, and know it for sure; Almighty God is in control, He always has been and always will be, and there is nothing new under the sun. I pray that He will open the minds of Americans and give us a few more years as a great nation that we once were and that we still can be.
